What is the Personal Injury Process?

Doctor consulting with patient Back problems

Although we work tirelessly behind the scenes, the process is relatively simple for our clients.

You hire us and we deal with the insurance company while you receive the medical treatment that you need.

Our office will notify the insurance company(s) of our representation. After they have accepted liability, we will allow for them to speak to you directly to fix your property damages.

While that is going on, all our clients must do is receive the medical treatment they need to get better.

We have medical providers throughout Texas that will treat you at no up-front cost to you. This includes chiropractors, medical doctors, surgeons, orthopedic doctors, neurologists, imaging facilities, and pharmacies. We have a network that will get you feeling as best as you can.

The medical treatment is our best form of evidence to prove your injuries and damages. The treatment is not only important for you and your wellbeing, but it is also important for your case. Everything that we are able to represent you for is evidenced by your medical records. This includes your medical bills, pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, permanent disfigurement as well as lost wages and loss of earning capacity.

Once you have completed medical treatment, we will request your bills and records and send a demand to the insurance company. We will then negotiate your case with your involvement. Once we receive the top offer on your case, we will give you an estimate of what we will be able to put in your pocket after attorney fees and paying medical expenses. We will then give you our advice on whether we think you should accept the offer or we should file a lawsuit to leave it in the hands of a judge and a jury. Our client will make the final call on accepting or rejecting any offer.

Again, we offer free consultations. Please reach out to Artemio Fernandez at 817-210-6512 or AFernandez@LawAF.com
